Unlike a traditional plug-in radar detector, the R9w is professionally integrated into the vehicle. Radar antennas, laser transceivers, GPS, speaker, controller, and wiring are discreetly installed for a clean, factory-style appearance. Inside the cabin, the system can be controlled through a compact keypad, OLED display, and the Uniden R/TACH app.
The R9w provides 360° directional radar and laser awareness using front and rear radar antennas, plus six dynamic laser transceivers. It also includes GPS-based features for red-light camera alerts, speed camera alerts, user marks, mute memory, and false alert filtering. Built-in Wi-Fi allows for software and database updates, while Bluetooth enables app-based customization from your smartphone.
